Whenever I talk to people who aren’t at school with me, the question that invariably comes up is, “Hey, how’s med school?”
The real answer is too long and possibly too obscene to say out loud, so I usually end up saying, “It’s fine” or “It sucks” (depending on the audience) and ending it there. But that’s not true! The truth is, it is awesome and lame and hard and fun and deeply ridiculous, all at the same time.
So, for all the people who ask, this blather’s for you.
